[Olsr-users] How to define the primary IP-Address of an Interface

Hi Michel,

sorry, but that is not that what i asked for :)

So get deeper into the configuration. My VLAN1-Interface:
> peer-18273 ~ # ip addr show dev vlan1
> 11: (spam-protected): <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc
> noqueue state UP
>     link/ether 00:50:bf:91:23:d0 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
>     inet 172.16.2.25/29 brd 172.16.2.31 scope global vlan1
>     inet 91.205.xxx.xxx/32 brd 255.255.255.255 scope global vlan1
>     inet6 fe80::250:bfff:fe91:23d0/64 scope link
>        valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever

Now when i start OLSRD then the olsrd-messages will be sent with IP-SRC
172.16.2.25.

When i reconfigure my interface to something like:

> peer-18273 ~ # ip addr show dev vlan1
> 11: (spam-protected): <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc
> noqueue state UP
>     link/ether 00:50:bf:91:23:d0 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
>     inet 91.205.xxx.xxx/32 brd 255.255.255.255 scope global vlan1
>     inet 172.16.2.25/29 brd 172.16.2.31 scope global vlan1
>     inet6 fe80::250:bfff:fe91:23d0/64 scope link
>        valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever

then OLSRD will use my public ip-address 91.205.xxx.xxx to send
olsr-messages.

I will force OLSRD to use the 91.205.xxx.xxx address and not to take the
first IP that is available within the interface.

Sometimes i change IP-Addresses (renumbering) and can not allways remove
all ip-addresses first to get my new primary-ip-address to the top of
the interface configuration.

I like to have an option to define the interface-src-ip-address per
Interface-Section in olsrd.conf.

I think there is a option that allready can do this, but i dont know the
name of this option.
