[Olsr-users] Setting indirect HNA routes in olsrd

Hello all,
I have a question and possibly a suggestion regarding routes in olsrd. For HNA-Adresses there are basically two approaches for setting the routing table entries.

Situation:
MANET nodes A, B and C, HNA-Network D attached to C, A is neighbor to B and B is neighbor to C.

Approach 1) (currently implemented in olsrd):
Routing entry in A that says D is reachable over direct neighbor B

Approach 2) (my preferred way):
Routing entry in A that says D is reachable over C

I prefer 2) because it gives more stable routing tables in a dynamic environment. If the network topology changes so that C becomes reachable over an alternative route, approach 1) requires changes to the routing entry for D as well as for C. In my approach 2) only the routing entry for C needs to change.
