Thanks for your answer.
I'll explain what I'm trying to do.
I want to use olsr for routing in a network with wireless, ethernet and 
ethernet-powerline links. (I also wrote you about this quite a bit of 
time ago).
I wrote an olsr plugin to query powerline devices and get informations 
about link quality and now I'm writing a lq_plugin to take advantage of 
this information in the routing.
The problem is that I don't get how to exchange data between the two 
plugins.
I thought of writing a function in the "powerline plugin" that the 
lq_plugin could use to get the data but from what you tell me it's not 
possible.
Please bear with me, I don't have much experience as a c programmer.
