I'm on the linux-wireless list and I REALLY hope that they will get a better 
ratecontrol algorithm soon. If they got it, nl80211 might be a good way to get 
the data out of the generic maclayer... maybe we must patch it for additional 
data, but we could send this patch back into the main kernel for inclusion.

I think we should just get some of the sourcecode from iwlist/config and put 
it into the BSD-specific part of olsr.org as soon as we have our "middleware".

Okay... BSD "solved"... linux progressing... noone here with good knowledge 
about the windows API to get WLAN parameters from adhoc drivers ? Would be a 
not nice if we had to leave windows behind...
