i copied it for the info plugin and modified it a bit, i think.

i think so, yes. 
and it would it make it easier to share your results with the rest of us ;)
using the info plugin i sent you as a start, it's really not hard to send the 
values via olsr flooding. see the powerinfo plugin for an example.

the CVS on olsr.org - well, actually the olsrd CVS on sourceforge.
