For a community mesh network (non-mobile nodes!) most things might
already be in place.

I have already done some emulations with CORE, using shncpd in a mesh
environment... its nice to see a mesh (including prefixes for the
attached client networks) coming online without configuring anything
at all (expect for the prefix range on the gateway).

IPv4 will still be a problem because its difficult to use
source-specific routing for it (no IPv4 ss-routing support in Linux
kernel, not enough IPv4 private addresses).

I sometimes wonder if it would be acceptable to use a static
configured IPIP tunnel for the IPv4 traffic to the gateway.
