Could you please explain how did you calculate the total time which nodes need to get neighboring?
32 seconds which you told before is the minimum time to get neighboring or is it depend on the ping time between two of them on Mesh?

OLSR has been designed for "MANET"... Mobile Adhoc Networks.

Most of the default timings of olsrd (and olsrd2) should be fine for mobile networks... the only thing that will be a bit slow is metric convergence... to reduce the noise in the metric we were forced to average the packet loss input over a long time (32 seconds).
