[Olsr-users] OLSR disconnets all routes when a interface will be added or removed

Sure.

It must be OLSR because the image that i've attached got its data from
the txtinfo-plugin. You can see that at 18:19:32 the route were removed
and comes up at
18:21:58, the routes were removed for 2 Minutes and 26 seconds.

The script relates to the section "LINKS" http://127.0.0.1:2001/links
The script reads each line and send the data to an rrd-file.

When the interface was removed, the txtinfo-plugin returned a empty
"links"-Section.

Sometimes i got nice stats like "OLSR Problem Remove Interface.png".

That images was taken on my concentrator. All connections went trough
that router (default route). When interfaces will be added or removed,
that kills my whole network for minutes / seconds. That is a big problem
because our layer2 network-provider sometimes have service interruptions
on one client end that will disturb our complete network functionality.

In the past i used a bridge-interface. OLSR was running on that
interface and all mit VPN-Clients were assigned to that
bridge-interface. But now we switched to unique interfaces dirctly
assigned to OLSR (tap0, tap1, tap2 ....). We configured up to 50
interfaces to avoid to make changes every time a new interface will be
needed. We choose that method to get a clear Layer-2 network. We were
not able to identify the correct layer-2 path because all VPN-Clients
saw each other directly via the software-bridge. We like to see the path
A > B > C and not only A > C since OLSR does not take advance over the
latency between multipathes.
