Hello Sutrisno
if the other routers run fine there may be a hardware problem. Here's a
checklist:
- The "todo-List" on the Admin-Page shows all green? No red-X?
- SSH-login to your meshbox2. Enter "arping -I eth1 102.168.10.1".
Any answer: ip configuration of meshbox1 is wrong.
No answer: no wifi-connection. check wifi settings on meshbox2
- SSH-login to your blind meshbox1. Type "cat /proc/net/wireless".
This shows the wifi device, e.g.
(spam-protected):~# cat /proc/net/wireless
Inter-| sta-| Quality | Discarded packets | Missed
| WE
face | tus | link level noise | nwid crypt frag retry misc | beacon
| 16
eth1: 0000 0 1 0 0 0 0 2 0 0
Wifi is shown: Double check wifi config, e.g. type "wl status"
Wifi not shown: Wireless driver does not load. Try "insmod wl" and check
with "dmesg"

Hi...
I need your help..
This is my first time to work on wireless mesh router, I am using wrt54gl
for my mesh router running olsr. I have four wrt54gl router that I have
already flashed with freifunk firmware. The problem is that one out of four
routers is not listenning to its neighbours. I noticed this problem when I
run my olsr switch in my laptop. When I access one of the four router for
instance so called meshbox2 (192.168.10.2) The router called mesbox1 with ip
address 192.168.10.1 is not shown in the neighbour list on the status of the
freifunk page. And also It is not available in MPR list in my olsr switch.
But I can still access the meshbox1 using SSH putty. So what shoul I do ?,
please give me assistance to this problem..thank you
Regards,
Sutrisno
