[Olsr-users] OLSR Mobile Robotic Application

Hi Group,

I am planning to deploy a mobile ad-hoc muti-hop wireless network for  
a robotics project (pretty high profile one at that). I have at my  
disposal 8 PicoStation2HP devices which I plan to use. For this  
network, I need to meet the following requirements as best as possible:

1. Fast node failover ( < 8s).
2. Transparency of network configuration to devices connected to the  
PicoStation2HP.
3. Reasonable UDP communication performance at 2 hops (our  
communication middleware offers us robust QoS facilities).

Our network will have at most 6 nodes at any one time in an area of  
about 1 square kilometer.

My questions are,

1. Is OLSRd fully supported on the PicoStation2HP running OpenWRT? If  
so, is there any particular combination of builds for OpenWRT & OLSRd  
which are most appropriate (particularly for a PicoStation2HP)
2. Has anyone had success in using a Ubiquiti Network device such as  
PicoStation2HP running OpenWRT & OLSRD?
3. How suitable would OLSRd be for the my solution.

Hope that these questions are not too broad for anyone to answer.
