I have added a bug at sourceforge tracker.

Now I'm trying to predict network behavior using simulation and my
simulator, unfortunately, doesn't support link quality extension.

What do you mean by "not even in simulation" and "doesn't run well"? Am I
understand right that current OLSRd doesn't work without ETX extension?
