[OLSR-users] Setting up OLSR for a complicated environment

I'm looking for a solution to deal with a complex mesh environment and
OLSR looks like it might work.

Typical set up looks like this:
One or two normal wireless APs with hardwire connection
Ten to fifteen Linux mesh nodes at fixed locations, one or two will
have a hardwire connection
One or two portable wireless devices running Linux, sw can be changed
One or two portable wireless devices running windows, sw can't be changed.

Mesh nodes are in fixed locations never more than two hops from a hardwire

Most mesh traffic is multicast and all nodes receive the same traffic
Some mesh traffic is unicast

Portable devices should connect to APs preferentially,
Connect to hardwired mesh nodes as next priority and mesh last
Portable devices are probably running 802.11 in Infrastructure mode,
ad hoc might be possible on Linux devices.

Mesh devices support Ad-hoc and master mode. WDS if I can figure how
to set it up.

Is this something OLSR can handle? I'm not really sure where to get
started with OLSR.
