It looks like your machine a big-endian machine from the uname -a:  armv5teb.  
the "b" indicates big-endian.  I suspect that the arm5 binaries are compiled 
little endian (all of my ARM machines are little endian).  Looks like you 
might get to experience the joy of cross-compiling...
