[OLSR-users] Does OLSR "lite" encryption (for weak cpus/wrt54gl) exist?

Does an OLSR plugin exist for Freifunk/openwrt that could encrypt 
olsr node to node communications, without overloading the cpu on 
wrt54gl?  I realize the standard "secure olsr plugin" is too cpu 
intensive, but perhaps someone has written a weaker, less cpu 
intensive encryption plugin for olsr?  Weak encryption is far 
better than the alternative of no encryption at all.  And, my 
specific uses rule out using built-in wep/wpa.  Any assistance is 
greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
