[OLSR-users] LQ Routing and 802.11b Link Speed

Hi,

this seems to be the "Improvement Suggestions Thread". So here's another 
one:

What about having a new config file option for Internet gateways. It is is a 
huge difference if someone offers a modem 32.5 kbit link (downshaped also) 
while another gateway is in range offering 8 Mbit SDSL with guaranteed 
rates. Something similar to LinkQualityMult, maybe as addon to HNA4/HNA6.

To "support" a correct setting: I plan a traffic shaping addon to 
Freifunk-Firmware. Because traffic shaping only works with correcty 
configured bandwith values (to drain out the providers transmission 
buffers), this value can be used for this purpose too.
