in our OpenWrt/r38043-based (kernel 3.10.12) networks we just upgraded to
olsr.org - 0.6.6-git_97d8844-hash_f03d7ab0a6c39b5dd02732ea79edcca9
Build date: 2013-09-18 20:02:02 on gcc20
and detect a lot of failures, which was never a problem before.
we often use the construction:
adhoc-node ---ethernet--- AP-node
and on the ethernet is OLSR spoken too with etx_ffeth,
adhoc = Mode "mesh", ethernet = Mode "ether" ofcourse.
Problem: sometimes the adhoc-node looses connectivity to the AP.
a simple daemon restart on the adhoc-node fixes it. before we
where running:
olsr.org - 0.6.5.4-git_3a84237-hash_3667acb4ad7e32204039db1f6b9bc660
i'am unsure which commit is responible for this, but it happens
on a lot of nodes, also with an similarly kernel (3.10.8). Any idea?
bye, bastian / wireless.subsignal.org
