I agree to Teco, a solution with a hysteresis based on the distance to
the gateway would be a much superior solution compared to the current one.
A solution that keeps multiple tunnels up would be even better, but
would need some kind of connection tracking. This could become very
complicated, unless we switch to IPv6 and reconfigure the client address
each time we switch the gateway.
