I think I found this issue. It's a bug in the "cleanall" command of our 
makefile that triggers if you work with crosscompilers. The linux version of 
the clean_all command does not remove the dll files of a windows compilation, 
that results in the larger archive size.

The bug did not trigger before because only a few month ago I have setup 
crosscompilers for BSD and win32 on my linux machine to check if OLSRd 
compiles well on this systems.

Do you think we shall create a third revision of the tarball ? Or just correct 
the problem in the next release ?

That's strange, because this file did not change between R7 and R8.
