Yes, service discovery is for sure a way. But the problem is that it
requires users to have a program installed which supports it. And I do
not want to limit rescue to only those which have Pidgin or iChat.
"Install or die" could be then their new tagline. ;-)

We could add an installation package to our nodes, but they are too
big and we should support multiple platforms.

This is why I am opting for a web-based chat.
