OS X 10.5.
Version 0.5.6-rc7 was fine. Then changeset 1436 came in and the
effect is now that things get quite weird on OS X.
After 1436 I will get routes from a pre-0.5.6-r4 olsrd (linux,
freifunk fw) but the sockets get somehow screwed up badly.
Effect:
ultrastabil:~ aaron$ ping 192.168.100.1
PING 192.168.100.1 (192.168.100.1): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.100.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=1.684 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.100.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=1.104 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.100.1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=1.384 ms
ping: sendto: Cannot allocate memory
ping: sendto: Cannot allocate memory
ping: sendto: Cannot allocate memory
So... I recommend that we bisect the changes in 1436 and see what
caused the harm in OS X (and possibly also freebsd).
For debugging I have a freebsd machine.
best,
a.
