Aaron,

are you sure, the /etc/olsrd.conf is compiled in? May it's 
/usr/local/etc/olsrd.conf -> check with "strings olsrd|grep conf".

Second bug: inlikely a regression. There was no special macos code in the 
cfgparser/* files so it simply sends to that bcast addrs. It the operating 
system does not like the destination 255.255.255.255 there is some other 
quirks, e.g. changed iface config? Pls. compare to olsrd-0.5.3-r3.
