Okay, that resolves the issue...

the problem you are facing is that the default olsrd2 executable
contains the "nl80211_listener" plugin to query wifi interfaces...
which needs libnl-3.

try to use the make command "make dlep_router_static" to only build an
olsrd2 that does not contain the plugin.
