Please read my last mail again...

it take ~10-15 seconds for a link to become symmetric and useful for the routing with default timings.

it takes ~30 seconds until the metric has a good estimation of the quality of the link.

Bad quality doesn't mean the link is not used, its just that it is only used unless no other way is available.
