I am not sure I understand your question...
as a default the "DAT metric" plugin is included in the olsrd2
binary... and the "ETT metric" plugin is not included.
Both plugins have a "ett" Boolean configuration variable which
(de)activates the linkspeed part of the plugin.
Both plugins have a default of "true" for this configuration variable,
which activates the linkspeed part.
