In fact olsrd DOES split messages, it just does it only at the node that 
is creating the message.

It is not possible to split a message during forwarding, so it is a bit 
risky to have a network with different MTU sizes.

We maybe should consider limiting the message size of future OLSR 
versions, so that an OLSR packet with a single OLSR message always fits 
into a 1280 byte MTU.
