did u try to define static routes yourself, i.e. the same that olsrd
would/should create?

hmm an osx version proven to work with olsrd as good as linux

none,..

in general i would asume for macos 10.x

the smaller x the better,..

but olsrd under BSD-ish OS (like OSx is one) should work good enough for
your extreme simple scenario,..
