the values stated there are usually the default values,..

yes, and as other olsr nodes use it to identify your olsr node, it better
not to change it while running,..

olsrd puts the main ip itself on lo:olsr (-;

this is done to make sure that it stays around, even if the interface it
learned the ip from changes ip or goes down,..

if u want to specify the main-ip (and not rely on olsr taking the ip from
the first olsr-interface)
just do it in the config file using the MainIp directive.
