[Olsr-users] what's the difference

what's the difference between

OLSR 0.5.6 r7, OLSR-NG, NRL-OLSR, and OLSRv2.

I have seen these titles in various places and it is not clear which is
better or used for what purposes.  Can someone help me out here?
