i assume your kernel routing cache is a bit lazy #1 , and/or the video  
streaming client has a large buffer

but while your setup below is not tuned for really hi speed. it should for  
sure not take minutes to setup routes after a topology change, i would  
guess it should take around 15 seconds with your settings,..

in general stopping/starting olsr is not a really brilliant test-case,
better take down the links/interfaces, and let olsr keep running

#1 in fact the output op ip route does just show the kernel routes, but  
not the routing cache (which holds recently used routes)
