I have a working prototype of a sequence number based retransmission system
compatible with normal OLSR. Each nodes sends ttl 1 beacons with ANSN-
number/originator-ip combinations. Nodes that detect a neighbor with more
recent data can ask the neighbor to reconstruct the TC message and flood it
again.

This should help to reduce the number of flodded messages by a HUGE number. It
has options for variable timings (only send TCs if it's necessary) and some
"quickstart effect" (starting nodes can aquire the necessary topology data by
it's neighbors.

It will need a little bit more work, but the experiments in VMs showed nice
results.
