[Olsr-users] Unusual Delays between LQ Hello message transmissions

I thought I posted this on Friday, but I can not find any record of it
in the archive. If this is a repost, I apologize. I'm still stumped by
this behavior.

---
I'm seeing some unusual gaps in the transmission of LQ Hello Messages.
Even though I set the Hello Interval to 0.5, I am occasionally seeing
2-3 second delays between LQ Hello messages (tcpdump on the sending
node). Most of the hello's do go out at 2 Htz, but some take 2-3
seconds. During the 2-3 second gap the TC messages are going out as
scheduled, and the OLSR sequence numbers on the outgoing packets show no
packet loss.

I'm running OLSR-0.5.6, under Linux on a WRAP board. I'm using the
configuration file "files/olsrd.conf.default.lq" with the following
modifications. Thank you in advance for any assistance from the list.

Pollrate 0.02 #was 0.05
HelloInterval 0.5 #was 2.0
HelloValidityTime 5.0 #was 20.0
TcInterval 1.0 #was 5.0
TcValidityTime 10.0 #was 30.0
