[OLSR-users] OLSR or HSLS, or AODV? Which and why?

Hi,

I am  currently conducting research in respect to the efficacy of Case 
Based Reasoning with multiple Case Bases in a  distributed environment. 
I would like the distributed environment  to be composed of an ad hoc 
wireless network (MANET).

Following some analysis of ad hoc protocols, my initial thoughts were to 
go with the AODV (Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector routing protocol) 
protocol. However, somebody has since suggested the preferable 
scalability of OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing Protocol) and HSLS 
(Hazy Sighted Link State routing protocol).

Immediately, I can see that these two protocols are practical in the 
sense that are proactive and because they are Link State protocols. 
Given so, these protocols will base routes on the quality of service and 
"cost" factors rather than the number of hops, as does AODV.

Does anyone have any other insight as to why it would be preferable to 
select OLSR or HSLS, over AODV?
