Hello,

the Freifunk Firmware has a remote exploit. Included since the first
versions. The knowledge about this is spreading too fast. For this reason
you will find a worm-like fix as emergency hack attached to this mail. Put
the file to any WRT in your mesh running Freifunk and do this:

gunzip /tmp/fixbackdoor.sh.gz
(Verify: No CRC error should show up!)
chmod +x /tmp/fixbackdoor.sh
  (To make it executable)
/tmp/fixbackdoor.sh
(Start. First repairs yourself, then all neigbours)

This a a worm - which spreads on all devices running Freifunk. After running
through the mesh, all devices are closed for this kind of exploit.

LG, Sven-Ola
