Hi Bing, olsrd is configurable. Use the "LinkQualityLevel" parameter in the configuration file to specify whether you want hop count (set the parameter to 0) or link cost (set the parameter to 2). The former is described in the OLSR RFC, the latter is described in README-Link-Quality.html which comes with the olsrd distribution. -Thomas
