Hi Andreas,

Actually, the config file is copied from the original Ubuntu kernel
distribution. After I apply the patch, I also need to reconfigure the kernel
to add in the Mobile IP Options. The original 2.6.8.1 kernel before patch is
WORKING fine. I am not sure if it is caused by the patch or the new options
after the patch. For mobile ipv6, I only know they modified packet header
and add in some new options for it. I think it may help if you can give a
try. Please let me know if you need me to do any test. Thanks a lot.

Have you tried compiling the 2.6.8.1(Ubuntu) kernel using this config
_without_ the MobileIP patch? I suspect this might be a MIPL realted
problem since Mobile IP will, as far as I can remember, have to do some
magic with IP dest/sender... but I might be wrong.
Still it would be interesting to know if it is the MIPL patch that trigs
this behavior.
Thomas: It will be interesting to hear your findings on this! I'm off on
vacation, so I have no oppertunity to look at it.
