we have a network with about 30 nodes and 7 hops in berlin today. it works
quite well, for example i can login to a node 7 hops (6km) away with ssh and
work on it. file transfers were about 100kbps at the time i tested it but i
know that there is one really bad link inbetween, where we have to add
another hop or better antennas.
