Yes, I fully agree with your analysis. Moving the system time forward 
expired all elements in the link set, so for a few seconds, the node 
thought that it did not have any links with anyone else. Moreover, all 
topology information was timed out. But then the link detection 
mechanism kicked in and restored the links to the neighbours and from 
the incoming TC messages the network topology was rebuilt.
