[OLSR-users] Bug in olsrd >0.3.8

FYI,

I have just discovered a bug in olsrd that causes routes/topology to be
recalculated way to often in a relativley stable _multihop_ network.
The bug was introduced with the rewritten scheduler in 0.4.0 and
will cause ANSN(TC seqno) to be increased for every scheduler poll
one a change in the MPR selector set has been discovered(this only
has to happen once). The effect: Once a node has discovered a change
in its MPR selector set, the local ANSN will start incrementing causing
all nodes receiving a TC from the local node to recalculate the topology
upon this reception.

This is not a complete showstopper - but it could cause unnessecarry
instabilities in bigger networks IMO. But there is no need for panic,
most users will probably not see a difference :-)

Attatched to this mail is a diff for 0.4.7 for those who want to see if this
makes a difference in their network. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Needless to say - this will be fixed in 0.4.8.

regards,
Andreas T
