I'm working on jsoninfo and txtinfo to extract the common code; 'merge' 
the plugins.

Also, after work has completed I'll be adding Java/OSGi bundles to the 
tree to interface with jsoninfo.
Maybe you can then use those bundles.

Interfacing with jsoninfo is much better and reliable.

We'll not release a new version until this work is complete.
