That is good news, because your system seems to be connected on
linklayer level.

*sigh*

I assume you have configured the new IP addresses (different ones) on
both wlan0 interfaces.

one of them (according to an earlier mail) was 10.0.1.9/24.

What is the output of the ping on the other side? Maybe tcpdump running
on both sides could help you to debug the problem.
