I admit its a bit confusing at the moment, I didn't spend that much time
with the OpenWRT makefile and I am still undecided if OpenWRT should go
for dynamic OONF libraries (which can have bugfixes on their own and can
be shared with other programs) or should go for the "static linked olsrd2".

OLSRd2 opens a telnet port (2006) where all plugins (and some parts of
the core) register their commands.

run the "help" command to get an overview about the commands... you are
most likely interested in the "nhdp" and the "olsrv2" command.

Both commands are mostly for human debugging purpose at the moment and
will be replaced by some txtinfo style plugin with text/json output later.

the ONLY metric that is supported by OLSRd2 at the moment is ETT.
