I am not sure about PUD, but SmartGateway just requires IPIP-Tunnel
support in the kernel. If you have this in your kernel, you can use
SmartGateway, if not you can not.

Testing with an Android 4.0 device would be a good start, but it might
be good to test the current stable together with a Android 2.3 firmware
too (for example an older Galaxy S2 firmware).
