Not sure, they change quite a bit depending on what you do and what 
compiler do you use I think.

If we put the files in, generating your own configuration becomes more 
difficult because your changes might be accidentally pushed back into 
the main repository.

Maybe we could put two example files (project/cproject) into the files 
folder?

No, you don't need to consider anything.

OLSRd use an external makefile (not the eclipse internal build process), 
so you can just use "editor of your choice" and gnu-make.
