i tried all possible settings of "Ip4Broadcast":

255.255.255.255
10.63.17.33 (ip of nexthop)
10.63.14.40 (another nexthop, reachable via routing)
10.63.14.63 (my own broadcast)

it makes no difference, there is no
olsr-traffic locally generated and there
are no messages in syslog/klog.

iptables/ebtables is not involved.

there no difference which interface i use,
wired or wireless.
