Ok, technically speaking the domain was not down, but the www.olsr.org server was pretty maxed out when it came to I/O operations. Maybe time to get some extra RAID 10 disks (?)
 
Everything should work again , no data loss (thanks for people running mirrors! We also have a regular backup BTW), please report any anomalies that you still encounter [1] to me.
