I would not like to change this in the stable branch and there is already a 
better plugin interface in the master branch.

If you want you can give me your opinion on the new system, it's not set in 
stone and could be improved before a future 0.7.0 release.

For an example see the new txtinfo, is has already be converted to the new 
system.
