Wireless mesh networks typically use broadcasting to excange topology
information. So how do you implement reliable updates while keeping
broadcasting the information? It sure is possible but it's not
easy...

The current focus on implementing reliable updates is to not have
reliable updates in the first place but have some mechanism to
detect LS database inconsistencies and then have some (non-broadcast?)
resynchronisation.
