How to turn OLSR into a simple sensor node the fast way:

I suggest to somehow add a command to OLSR or a config option or  
something like that where you can tell it to go to sleep again.
Then we have low power sensor network functionality easily.

Observe that the trick was to use a out of band message which arrives  
via a chip which uses almost no power (the timer in this case / or an  
SMS)
