[Olsr-dev] First release of IP Autoconfig daemon (PAA)

Hi all,

The first release of the standalone PAA daemon for IP Autoconfig is now released.
PAA was developed at Thales Norway AS.

The original author (and master designer) of PAA was Andreas Tønnesen, the same guy that 
started www.olsr.org. I have later made some bug fixes and enhancements.

This daemon source code and a document describing how PAA works is available at the 
project web-site (download section):

(please note that it may take a while for the sf.net mirrors to get the new file)

The olsr plug in for PAA is NOT in this release, I'm working on that.

For those interested, please download the file and check out PAA-DOC inside for a 
description on how this works.

Please note that this is a first step and may not work very well on a really big net with 
hundreds of nodes. It is tested with up to 10 nodes over 4 hops.
It depends on the ability to flood messages in the net when a new node is connected, i.e. 
the MPR mechanism. So any configuration that disallows flooding to all nodes (in a big 
net) or fewer MPR nodes may affect how PAA works.
