[olsr-dev] Changing link quality metrics

Hi to all, i'm writing to ask you advices before start to develop a 
plugin or change olsrd core. I would like to use my personal metrics, 
directly taken from net devices and not with the LQ/NLQ formula.

Do you think i have to make an appropriate plugin or i have to change 
the core where there's the Link Qality Extension?
Where is that code lines?? Or do you have suggestions for the plugin?
